These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of JobResumAI (the "Service"), operated at jobresumai.com. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

JobResumAI is an AI-powered resume builder that helps users create, optimize, and export professional resumes and cover letters. The Service includes free features and paid plans starting at $1.99.

2. Account Registration

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and notify us immediately of any unauthorized access. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information in resumes or cover letters generated through the Service.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service or its AI models.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware, overloading servers, or circumventing security measures.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or its output without our prior written consent.
• Create multiple accounts to abuse free tiers or circumvent usage limits.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Pricing and Plans

We offer several paid plans, including a 48-Hour Pass, monthly subscriptions, and annual subscriptions. Current pricing is available on our Pricing page. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated.

4.2 Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By purchasing a plan, you authorize Stripe to charge the payment method you provide. We do not store your full credit card details.

4.3 Subscriptions and Renewals

Monthly and annual subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access until then.

4.4 Refund Policy

Due to the digital nature of the Service, all sales are generally final. However, if you experience a technical issue that prevents you from using the Service, contact us at support@jobresumai.com within 7 days of purchase, and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis. Refunds, when approved, are processed through Stripe to your original payment method.

5. Intellectual Property

5.1 Your Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create, enter, or generate using the Service, including your resume text, cover letters, and other documents. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

5.2 Our Service

The Service, including its design, code, templates, AI models, branding, and documentation, is owned by JobResumAI and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our permission.

5.3 License to Use Your Content

By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service (e.g., sending text to AI models for optimization). We will not sell your content or use it for purposes unrelated to delivering the Service.

6. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by our AI features is provided as a starting point and suggestion. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all AI-generated content before using it. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JobResumAI and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, be error-free, or produce specific outcomes in your job search.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may also delete your account at any time from your account settings.

If we terminate your account without cause, we will provide a pro-rata refund for any unused portion of a prepaid subscription.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JobResumAI from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
